In this event, Dinçer Güçyeter will read excerpts from his novel Unser Deutschlandmärchen (Almanya Masalımız), which was awarded the 2023 Leipzig Book Fair Prize. In this work, Güçyeter masterfully weaves together family history, migration experiences, and poetic language to present a polyphonic literary panorama of lives with Turkish roots in Germany. The reading will be moderated by Jörg Menke-Peitzmeyer, who will also engage the author in an in-depth conversation.
