Director and writer Derviş Zaim is the guest of ITEF 2022 with his first novel Ares Wonderland and his latest novel Rüyet, for which he received the Yunus Nadi Award. In the timeless geography of Derviş Zaim, these two novels and the writing adventure of the author, which center on the storytelling impulse in the Thousand and One Nights tales and lean on both Eastern and Western cultures with myths, symbols and rituals, will be discussed under the moderation of writer Merve Küçüksarp. In the light of these two novels, we will listen to various topics such as creating a narrative, the tension between the West and the East in Turkish novels, and the relationship between texts in postmodern literature, with the author's own words.
