Cem Alpan was born in İstanbul in 1972. He graduated from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University with a degree in Interior Design and Design. He has been an editor and translator at various publishing houses since 2004. His translations include “Will in the World: How Shakespeare Became Shakespeare”, “Silas Marner”, “Some Women” and “Caribou Island”. He is the managing editor of the contemporary literature series at Can Publishing since 2018.
