She was born in Istanbul in 1983. She studied American Philology at Istanbul University. After completing her training on International Teaching at Cambridge University she got her master's degree from NYU. She is the author of two novels; “Cried The Olive Trees” (2016) and “The Other Side of the Horizon” (2018) and one non-fiction book on creative writing; “365, Articles for Everyday” (2016). Besides being an author, she also works as a translator and writes in several newspapers and literary magazines. Her latest novel is “Once Upon a Spring" (Dogan Kitap, 2020)
