After graduating from Marmara University, Department of History, Rezzan Akçatepe had her master degree again at Marmara University Institute of Educational Sciences in History teaching.
During her studies, she specialized in "Drama Techniques in Modern Teaching Methods" then she participated in scientific researches related to the frequency of use of drama techniques and modern history teaching in high schools and universities in the UK and Turkey. She presented these researches as a paper in international symposiums. She continues her PhD studies at Marmara University
At the Institute of Turkic Studies and works as an acedemician at Acıbadem University since 2011.
