Cem Erciyes was born in Izmir in
1971. After graduating from İzmir Bornova Anatolian High School, he completed
his studies in the Department of International Relations at Marmara University
and later earned his master’s degree at Istanbul University. He began his
journalism career at Dünya newspaper in 1992, where he worked for Dünya Kitap
magazine and the culture and arts pages. In 1997, he joined Radikal newspaper
and served as editor-in-chief. He has worked for many years as a journalist,
writer, publisher, and editor. Since 2016, he has been serving as the
publishing director of Doğan Kitap.
