ITEF Istanbul International Literature Festival aims to position literature as a branch of art that appeals to large audiences.

Ezgi Tanergeç

She was born in İzmir in 1980. She graduated from the Radio, Television, and Cinema Department of the Faculty of Communication at Ege University. She began working in the press sector during her student years in İzmir. After graduating, she moved to Istanbul, where she lived for many years. She worked in the press and television industry for a while, then served as a press advisor for various institutions. In 2012, she established her own business. In 2016, she returned to İzmir.

Her debut novel, Devridaim, which she started writing in 2020, won the Turgut Özakman First Novel Award in 2022. The novel was published by Bilgi Publishing in 2023. Devridaim was awarded the Orhan Kemal Novel Prize in 2024. Her second novel, Geç Kalanlar Kümesi, was published by İthaki Publishing at the end of 2024. She also wrote a feature-length film script titled Deli Sabri, and she has a son named Rüzgâr.
