After graduating from Boğaziçi University, Department of Turkish Language and Literature, Melike Günyüz completed her master's degree with the Bursalı Talip Divanı Edition Critical study, and her doctorate in Divan Literature in the Department of Old Turkish Literature at Istanbul University. She is the consultant of many projects for publishing and children. She is the first female board member of MUSIAD (Independent Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association). Melike Günyüz maintains both her professional working life and NGO studies in order to spread the culture of reading, to promote Turkish literature in the international arena, to bring good books to all children across the country, and to involve the Turkish publishing industry in more effective lobbying.
