He studied at Boğaziçi University, Department of History. While he was a student, he founded the journal Kırtıpil, which focused on experimental literature, with a group of friends, and later assumed the founding directorship of the Field of Text Experiments, which again aimed to highlight the concepts of experiment and play in literature. His first book, Leopold's Soap, published by Koç University Press, was awarded the World Book Crime Encouragement Award in 2017, and his novels Şaklaban (2019) and Possible Endings of the World (2020) were published in audiobook format by Storytel. He currently works in the publishing industry.
