Bashkim Shehu is an Albanian fiction writer living in Barcelona. Many of his books were published in Albania and his books were translated in several languages including French, English, and Spanish. He has received numerous awards, including the Prize Balkanika in 2015, Special Mention of the Jury of Prix Méditerranné Étranger (France, 2018), in addition to several Albanian national honors. He is also a translator of authors like Albert Camus, Jorge Luis Borges, Søren Kierkegaard and Hannah Arendt.
