ITEF-Professional Meetings Unveiled as of 2011!

There are many publishers all over the world who wish to discover Turkish literature. Those who have not already been in İstanbul are eager to learn more and discover this wonderful city. There is no doubt that to discover Turkish Literature is to discover İstanbul, spend time in this city pulsating with literature and meet the scene’s actors personally.

ITEF aims at increasing the visibility of Turkish literature abroad, to promote Turkish literature worldwide and to enrichen the literary scene in Turkey by extending the horizons towards new dialogues. Under this circumstances, ITEF, has decided to carry out one of its new pojects in 2011.

As the unique international literary festival of Turkey, ITEF-Istanbul Tanpınar Literature Festival emphasizes its quality of being a meeting point for writers, publishers, agencies, translators, journalists, literary fund managers, festival coordinators and all of those who are enflamed by literature.

As of this year, ITEF- Fellowship programme creates a platform to realize the meeting of a limited number of puıblishing professionals with their Turkish counterparts according to their field, interests and projects.

While the festival goes on, professionals will come together, fellows will get acquainted with the Turkish market, fall in love with İstanbul and never forget ITEF-Literature Parties!
