Hazal Baydur studied Psychology at Istanbul University. She worked as a non-fiction literary agent at Kalem Agency. She took on several roles including volunteering for and coordinating ITEF. In 2019, she took part in the founding of the !f X school within the !f Film Festival. She later built a literary rights department and worked as a literary rights coordinator for İthaki Publishing.
