Filiz Aygündüz was born in 1971 in İstanbul. She graduated from Mimar Sinan University, Department of Mathematics. She worked as a freelance reporter for various art and women’s magazines. She worked as the arts and culture reporter at Milliyet Newspaper, and she still works as the editor-in-chief in Milliyet Sanat and Milliyet Kitap. She has two novels "Kaç Zil Kaldı Öğretmenim?" and "Prens Prensesi Sevmedi”, and a book of interview called “Gel Hayattan Konuşalım” that she prepared with psychiatrist Alper Hasanoğlu.
