Alparslan Demir was born in Üsküdar, İstanbul in 1992. He got involved in publishing in 2010 with Kitapyurdu. He founded Biryudumkitap in 2015, birkutukitap.com in 2017, Kutu Publishing and Budala Kitap in 2019. After 2021, Biryudumkitap became “Fabula”, one of the biggest reading apps in Mexico, publishing in Spanish, English, Russian, and Portuguese as well as Turkish. Demir is now a translation editor at his own publishing house, and a manager at the software development company.
