Cansu Erkan was born in 1989 in Ankara. She graduated from METU, Department of City and Regional Planning. After the birth of her son, she stepped into the world of children's books as a writer and illustrator. She has authored and illustrated four children's books including Who Wants to be a Giraffe Barber? and illustrated five other children’s books. She organizes illustration workshops for children and adults.
