Hakan Akdoğan

Hakan Akdoğan is a philologist and an author. Upon graduating from the English Linguistic Department of Hacettepe University, he completed his studies in Media and Communication field at Anadolu University. He has made studies in the Human, Society and Philosophy program at Uludağ University. He has had many jobs like director in retail industry, editor in publishing houses and radio programmer. Since 2014 he has been giving lectures about "creative writing" in various institutions and organizations. He translated many important authors’, poet’s works into Turkish, including Marquis de Sade and Fernando Pessoa. He wrote the novels Nü Peride, Gölge Yaşatan, Struma, İlişmek, Varlık ve Piçlik, Kirpi Mesafesi. He won the Yunus Nadi Novel Award with his novel Nü Peride.
