Argın Kubin

Argın Kubin is a storyteller and healing traveller. He dreams through his feet, and looks at the sky through his hands. He lifts his own world off through his eyes and builds himself new homes through his words. He sometimes imagines himself like a snail leaving colorful marks, and sometimes an ethnic chameleon in disguise. He retreats to hear the song of life; when the song calls him he turns back and he transforms into his path. He attended Anatolia Jam in 2012 when his path changed and discovered the art of narrative. He attended Nazlı Çevik Azazi and Judith Liberman’s workshops and he took his steps both fast and slowly through this path and he set off his inner world. He took place in “Time within a Time; Intangible Cultural Heritage” conducted by Institute of Turkish World Studies, Ege University. Last year, he travelled 11 cities for 40 day and night as As Abraxas Story Teller, the journey of the fairytale caravan with the intention of encouraging people with the arrival of spring and herald the coming of spring. His fairytale journey still continues at the Seiba International Storytelling Center, Narrator's Road program. Currently, he lives in İzmir, but he tells his stories in different places. While he is walking through the path of healing, he studies Medicine in Ege University.
